Northern District of New York
The Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of New York represents indigent defendants charged with federal crimes. The Federal Public Defender is authorized and funded pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act, ("CJA"), 18 USC § 3006A, et seq.

 

The Northern District of New York includes 32 of the state's 62 counties.  Court locations are in Albany, Syracuse, Utica and Binghamton.  Information is available on the district court's web site.

 

This web site is designed to provide information for the criminal defense bar, especially our CJA panel.
