This section lists items of
interest such as training events and newsletters. The Federal Public Defender
for Northern New York offers free day-long seminars twice each year. The Spring
seminar is in Syracuse and the Fall seminar is in Albany. Every seminar has
different topics and speakers. Registration information will be posted here
about a month preceding each seminar. Between seminars, information about legal
developments are distributed on a regular basis by e-mail. All Northern District
CJA Panel members are sent these messages, but other attorneys may be included
